Tell me Chigiana – now in its 3rd Edition – is a workshop for aspiring social content editors who are interested in communicating the many facets of musical life through new digital media.
Candidates aged between 23-28 years old will be selected on the grounds of their musical education and of documented professional experience in the field of media and communications. The selected candidates will form an editorial hub that will inform the public about concerts, master classes, seminars and other events which take place during the Chigiana International Festival and Summer Academy 2017.

During the morning sessions, the students attend seminars on forms and styles of communication and musical journalism on the Web, held by journalists, music historians and experts in digital communications. The students will operate in contact with the audience and the artists. Then, under the coordination of S. Jacoviello, content project manager at Accademia Chigiana, and M. Coviello, web content specialist, the students will produce digital and multimedia contents to enhance and integrate the information on the Festival.

Benefits for the selected students include: accommodation at the University guesthouse, University canteens service, and the access to all the concerts and events organised by Accademia Chigiana during the workshop. Most of the workshop activities will be in Italian, but the coordinators reserve their right to set up a specific “foreigners oriented” program.
