Online video-audition: April 20

Entrance examination: July 10 / 9:30 a.m.

To be admitted to this Course candidates must pass the required examination and pay the corresponding attendance fee.

The Course is dedicated to the study of bel canto with the intention of consolidating the basis in terms of both technique and expression. The foreseen repertoire, while remaining within the realm of classical music, may range from Monteverdi to Menotti.

For the entrance examination, candidates must prepare by heart three pieces, chosen from their own repertoire.
The compositions chosen must be indicated beforehand under the letter A on the applicatin form.
Candidates must supply one copy of each composition for the Instructor and one for the pianist in the key in which the piece will be performed.

In anticipation of the performance of The Triumph of Time and Disillusion, HWV 46a by Georg Friedrich Handel, students may also optionally include in their repertoire the entire part of one of the four protagonists of the oratory (Bellezza, soprano / Piacere, soprano / Disinganno, alto / Tempo, tenor).
It is recommended to send a video of one or more arias from Handel’s oratory along with the student’s application.
